Thon Hotel Alta

Just a smart choice for taking strolls in Alta with great value-to-price ratio. The spacious room I stayed in had a fine view of the Northern Lights Cathedral. Be careful with the room door, it doesn't lock automatically as the staff suggests.

Exceptionally comfortable bed, brand-new and normal double room. Location just next door to the police station, the Gulf, and the biggest shopping mall in Alta. For tea or coffee visit Uno Cafe nearby.

Reasonable breakfast option with even including vitamin and local food, as example👌❤

The gym was cool, but the shower pressure was weak.

The location was particularly good and easy, we visited a church and a cathedral in front of the hotel. It was a new area in front of a bus stop.

Everything was impeccable.

Nice rooms

Breakfast in a pizzeria, no orange juice. Coffee machine in the lobby area makes wonderful coffee. However, no milk was available.

The breakfast spread was a culinary delight, with traditional regional home-made products! The room's panoramic views of the Northern Lights Cathedral. Plus, the complimentary chocolates upon arrival were the cherry on top!

Excellent in all respects; first class hotel and amenities.

Onsite parking is very expensive, but free offsite is close enough to use

The building and rooms are modern, the staff were friendly and the breakfast selection very nice.

There is no free parking for guests, which is surprising. (It was possible to use public parking around the corner which is free for the night, but out of principle...) Weirdly, I kept waking up to the small minibar fridge which was unnecessarily loud. The room was not super tidy, so value for money is not what I expected.

I loved the spacious room with a fantastic view of the Northern Lights Cathedral. The bed felt super comfy, and the kitchenette, including a microwave and hot plate, added a nice convenience. Breakfast spread was excellent, with a great selection of hot items and plenty of fresh juices. The staff seemed a bit disorganized. Check-in took longer than expected, and my key card stopped working after just one day, requiring a trip back to reception to fix it. Despite this, the location was perfect, right next to the shopping centre and close to various restaurants. I felt welcome with the tags for little touches like welcome chocolates and complimentary bottled water upon arrival.

The breakfast was very nice and the staff were talkative, friendly and helpful.

The restaurant here was nice for dinner, we both ordered excellent dishes. Having a shower, hairdryers, and free toiletries was a bonus. It was in a favourable location close to Zoo World.

Facilities were great, nonetheless Wi-Fi was weak.

Spacious rooms with a kitchenette, including a microwave, are perfect for those who want to save a few credits. The corner room view of the Northern Borealis Cathedral-a real spectacle while dining-elevates the experience significantly.

The shower pressure needs a boost. It felt a bit weak . The pet fee of 35 euros seemed steep, especially with nothing complimentary for the furry companions, like a water bowl or towel.

Good hotel, good service en good room. No complaints.
